NASM Udvar-Hazy Center

Here's a belated "article" about my trip to the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center last weekend.

The Udvar-Hazy Center was ok. It's still being completed. There were large areas of the hanger that were empty. The food court isn't ready, but they had Subway box lunches. It's no surprise that many of the planes there have military uses.

The IMAX theater was amazing despite the self glorifying introduction. "We have speakers over here, and over here, and over here..." We watched Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag.

Some of the planes they have include the Enola Gay, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise.
